Sunflowers
Thanks to our kind neighbours J&L who popped round many days to water our pots and veg beds. The lush green garden we left last Friday could so easily have turned a crisp yellow after this weeks sun and high temperatures.
There are lots of toms, peas and beans ready to eat. The blueberry plant is laden with unripe fruit and the french bean plants are in flower.
The rest of the garden is shaggy and unkempt but so pleased I have left the lawn uncut as it has not dried out or yellowed.
The sunflowers are looking good albeit of a moderate height, no giants!
