Life and Death

Another celebratory day, this time a walk and then late lunch at one of our favourite pubs in Brewood with our longest friends, who we have known since before getting married.

This was towards the end of the walk, a tree I've featured before.  Despite the general weather forecast being dry and sunny, thicker cloud was around at the time, though it wasn't cold.  I just love how, despite the obvious distress this tree is in, it still produces leaves on some of the branches each year.

It's been such a busy week, but really enjoyable.
