Hollyhock

In the evening I walk my mother-in-law's poodle round the neighbourhood. Normally he'd go to the hippodrome after work but while I'm working funny hours he gets his hippodrome walk in the morning instead. The hollyhocks seem to be doing rather well in one section of my walk spouting from the edge of the pavement and garden walls, and here are a two of them.
