Pitching the rubbish

Dull but dry today. I'd arranged to meet a friend at lunchtime today at the rugby pitch, as someone has posted on Keep Oban Beautiful's Facebook page regarding a load of rubbish on the path between the pitch and the golf course. My Blip today is of various folk playing football on the rugby pitch - well at least the balls were round!

There were a load of broken and nail-studded pallets under the nail-studded tree, a recycling bin, a collapsible table and various other large articles in the nearby burn and general rubbish scattered around the area. We're hoping to have a clean-up next Saturday, but first I'll have to speak to the rugby folk to get permission to stack all the junk at the back of their clubhouse, then persuade the council to come and clear it all up. We'll see!
