Bog garden

Dull and dry again here - no heatwaves for us! Rain forecast shortly, apparently.

I drove up to Taynuilt this afternoon to visit a friend who runs a small nursery and garden there - we often meet up to chat and swap plants. He has a fairly relaxed attitude to gardening and plants are flowering away all over the place in a very informal way. This is the garden loo - as well as a lot of plants inside there's a bookcase full of books too! 

I took a box of plants with me and brought a few others home - Mrs M was pleased to see that I took away more than I brought back!

My haul consisted of a lovely yellow Eccremocarpus scaber, a Codonopsis pilosula and a beautiful Impatiens omeiana, the last being my extra today. I think that Susie likes it too!
