The 'purple' field that I blipped a few weeks ago is Borage (thanks to Marpaul for identifying it).   The flowers are a beautiful vibrant colour and the field looks wonderful (see extra).
Apparently the plant has many healing properties, both flowers and leaves, the bees love it and it can be harvested for the oil which is rich in Omega 5.
