Nice of the House Sparrow to pose for me just as the wind was easing this afternoon.   There is a pair that come to the feeders every day and it's lovely to have them there, I think they are an underrated little bird..   
Considering how common they used to be years ago, almost to the state of being pests, especially when the harvested grain was being dried and stored in the barns, and how few there are now makes you realise how much wildlife has really taken it's toll in our present day society.
