Village fair

Took Hetty for an early walk and the village was already busy getting set up for the day. We went for a walk around and then walked along the river path to the coffee shop at the mill, and it was really busy. Service was slow but we didn’t care as we were sat under the shade and enjoying a chat with a friend waiting for someone.
Still some jobs to finish and then we had another walk around the fair, without Hetty as it was getting hot. Very busy and watched the clog dancers, missed the Morris dancers which I would have preferred.
Ordered a small table for the garden and it arrived just in time to sit out and enjoy a G&T and read.
Been so busy today I forgot about responding to blip comments from yesterday, so apologies to those that commented.
About to settle down and watch some scandi noir.
Home tomorrow and cottage all ready for daughter.
