Another day, another high tide...
The second day of high tides at Blakeney so W and I went over this morning. Not quite as high as yesterday but almost, and once again quite a few people out enjoying the morning including the paddle boarder and her dogs in the second extra. Quite a few boats out too; this dinghy was taking advantage of the light breeze across the marsh.
We walked out along the sea defence path for quite a way and passed the derelict boats in the first extra which have been blipped many times by me and others. The old barge looks as though it is floating but it is many years since it was seaworthy; normally, it is possible to walk right up and around it. Tomorrow morning the tide will be marginally lower but we might well have another drive over as there was a rather good smell of bacon butties coming from the mobile cafe on the edge of the car park. We'd already had breakfast, but tomorrow.....?
