Beached!

This has pretty much been our view for the afternoon.  A glorious, warm and sunny day so we decided to pack a picnic and head for the beach.  We set off to Overstrand and were only slightly nonplussed when we got there and found it was high tide so there was no beach.  However, I remembered that if you walked a little way along towards Cromer the tide didn’t go all the way up and sure enough, there was somewhere to sit.  Fairly busy but not so much you felt you were close to other people, and a lovely afternoon sunbathing, paddling and reading.  We’re still in the holiday spirit so we’re now going to walk into town for a drink and who knows - maybe fish and chips!
