Back to Poors Lane....

....as a cool place to walk.  It worked last Sunday when we had a very hot day and even though it was around midday today it was comfortable for me and a hot dog - hope the shot convinces.
Text greeted me this morning from the friend I had been staying with to say that she had heard from her friend who joined us for supper on Wednesday evening and again last night that she awoke with a sore throat and had a feint line on a Covid test.  I think it is all around at the moment but thankfully nobody seems badly affected.
