Life-saver!

The phone call - would you like to come round for a swim?  Said "yes please" before the sentence was finished.  The rest of the Book Club were away, otherwise engaged and for one member couldn't face a short hot car journey.  Minor issue!  Just the two of us - cup of tea and put the world to rights while bobbing about in the pool which is beautifully managed by "the pool attendant"  aka her husband.  No overpowering smell of chlorine as he checks it every day.
