Reading out of the sun!

A great morning: Mass in a lovely cool church and then we joined B at Rainie’s for a hot chocolate and some toasted raisin bread.  We sat outside under the awning.  Still an overcast sky so cool .  We left as the clouds started to clear and I went for a walk around the locality and found the beautiful Californian poppies I’ve added to the book I’m about to start reading.  This is not the weather to turn a computer on that belches out heat! 

I found this book in the central library and was astonished as it’s by the daughter of one of my cousins!  History in a very readable form!
