Driftwood

Approximately 5 km away in the Inn as driftwood, I've found this ~ 1.7m log/trunk of a tree that I don't recognize. Whilst in water it has a deep purple colouring and dry without oil a light pink colouration.
It feel like more heavy/sturdy wood and was bitten of by a beaver. 
I think maybe a Cedar/Cedrus.
(It was heavy lifting to bring it back home but worth)
