Sea breeze

A warm day but being near the coast, we’ve had a cooling breeze which has made the weather feel very agreeable. I realise it’s not the case for many right now so am additionally grateful.

I’ve been to the allotment to harvest fruit today - gooseberries, masses of redcurrants and blueberries. I also dug up potatoes and brought the onions and garlic home to dry. This evening we’ve had feta and spinach tart for dinner - it’s tasty and also uses up lots of spinach - of which we have an abundance growing at the allotment.

This was the view in the field as I walked Merlin at 9 o’clock this morning. Idyllic summer, with the grasses blowing in the breeze, and the church bells ringing.

Hoping you’ve had a good Sunday.
