Last of the blackcurrants.
Not nearly as many this year. Suspect a Wood Pigeon near totally cleared one of the main bushes. Saw it eyeing up one of the others, working it's way around the bush whilst stretching and looking up at the currants. Likely tactic being to sit on a branch, bringing it to ground level with it's large size and weight, and then pick off all the fruit. They don't half gorge themselves.
No jam this year, and if a drastic garden change ever comes about, it would several years until there's a decent crop again.
(Very much a shot in the dark, taken long after sunset, handheld too.)
