Hot

Took this picture of the Achillea in the front garden before 9.00 am. I planted it last year in the hope that it would come up at the back of the border behind the mass of geraniums that have grown in the last couple of years since the tree was felled there. I’m pleased to see it as other things have been swamped.

It’s all I’ve taken today so it is my blip and it’s bright red colour seems to match the temperature.

We did Monday morning singing as usual which wasn’t unpleasant as the high windows in the chapel don’t let the sun in in the mornings.

A quick hop over to Guiseley M & S which was chilly as I had forgotten a cardigan! Bought some more Strawberry Split lollies, not as good as a Mivvi but not far off and very refreshing in thus heat.

Not done much at all this afternoon. The cat was supposed to go to the vets but she’s hidden somewhere in the garden. Chris has gone to the dentist.

Bracing ourselves for hotter tomorrow!
