Spider dahlia

The hot day. I think it was around 29C here, with a little breeze so we were ok. I have turned off the Aga! It was too hot to do much apart from some emergency watering of a couple of wilting plants.
Pepper wasn’t too keen on it though, until we took her about 8pm for a little walk.
The spider dahlia was given to me by Faye from a mixed free bag of tubers she received. I’m pleased with it as most of mine are red so far.
