Spectacular Clouds

A last coffee all together after walking the kids to school, and then Ju and Tom set off for Manchester, the others to work (though Paul came back to make us a delicious chickpea and chorizo salad), and we packed... it's never easy.

Mike L, who loaned us the car, then completed his generosity by taking us to the airport. Which was chaos, but everyone remarkably good natured, even in ridiculous heat, sunshine pouring through the huge windows. 

The clouds on the flight were stunning; at one point, it seemed we veered off course to avoid a towering dark storm cloud. Liked the added effect from the window in this one, it does feel such a privilege to see the clouds from above. A stunning red sunset, and then we arrived in Faro.

Gratefuls:
- a family we love and miss
- a smooth journey, and no delay in getting off the plane (which had been worrying me)
- back in the land of relaxed people, good food and excellent wine at reasonable prices
