These Feet

... have walked a lot of miles in a lot of places together. Tomorrow will be our 37th anniversary, so have come down a day early for our flight from Faro, to just relax for a day.

We walked up May Hill, where he proposed to me the first time, and along Mersea beach, where he did it again, and that time, I accepted.

For part of our honeymoon, we walked the West Highland Way, from Milngavie to Fort William (about 100 miles). Before deciding to come to Portugal, we walked the Rota Vicentina, on the Alentejano coast. Inbetween, we've walked in Lesotho, India, America, Peru, Ecuador, and of course, Brazil. And around Rio, Madrid, Rome, up to the top of Capri, around Venice, Paris, New York... and who knows where else.

While we were engaged, I came to meet him in Portugal, where he was studying, and we walked on Algarvian beaches, which is what we did today, again.

There isn't anyone I'd rather walk with.
