Free Parking

We all had to go to Nelson today. Farmerboy and Son C had to go to the Dentist, so while they were there, Son T and myself went shopping. We met back up for lunch, and while walking to Subway, we passed this man and his horse, parked up in a carpark.

The man is very well known in Nelson for parking his horse, cart and trailer in Council owned car parks, and refusing to pay for the privilege. He has been doing this for years, so I imagine he owes the Council a lot of money in unpaid parking fines.

Anyway, I thought it was such an unusual sight to see in a City, I just had to photograph it for today's photo.
