Early morning
I got a head start to the day and had Pollok Park almost to myself. On my return one of my neighbours seemed very keen to talk to me as I attempted to climb, with agility and nonchalance, the railings opposite the kingfisher nest where I had been hoping for a blip. Yesterday in the middle of the morning he had videoed two minutes worth of three otters cavorting in the White Cart 50m upstream from the Gatehouse, an adult and two juveniles. It was impressive and very exciting. He had heard them before he saw them.
I walked to aqua fit which was great fun again, a bit like musical theatre underwater, we get to sing too. A swim afterwards and a slow walk home in sultry heat.
