Grown up

After a day of catching up on various things I didn’t get out for a walk until after 7. I had hoped I might catch the kingfisher and although I saw them flying up the river they didn’t stop in any of their usual hangouts.

The family of mallards was an easy catch, it’s difficult now to distinguish the juveniles from the adult, this one is the largest of the young ones.
