.......... taken through the window while I hide out trying to keep cool........ we topped out at 41 degrees and as I type ( 8.30pm ) it’s still 33 degrees outside - I think it could be hot one tonight but hopefully a little cooler tomorrow.

There was a large field fire This afternoon in a nearby village - I can’t even begin to imagine how uncomfortable the poor firefighters that attended it must have been in full sun in the hottest part of the day with all the protective gear on and standing in front of a huge fire just to keep us all safe - huge respect to them ;-)
