Some like it hot ……

……. But not me.

It reached 38°c early afternoon, way beyond what we are used to. The lads continued with project bathroom, seemingly unfazed by the heat. J reported that all lights were off at the hospital to reduce heat, and the nurses were allowed to dress in “scrubs” for comfort. Everyone will be glad of the cooler weather tomorrow, back to 19°c.

I sat in the garden in the shade a few times, and also came in at times to cool down. I took a few pics, and like this image for the pink tints on the hoverfly’s wings, which are reflecting the petals of the Cosmos flower it is feeding on.
