After the heavy rain and strong winds of recent days - which must have made preparations a bit of a nightmare - the Royal Horticultural Society has been incredibly lucky with the weather on the opening day of the Tatton Flower Show.

We visited for a couple of hours this afternoon. It was incredibly busy (this image is deceptive, but then I was focussing on clouds). That made it tricky for J to manoeuvre her mobility scooter, but she managed well. There was no doubt a lot we missed, but we had a good “ dip in”.
