Hostas

Another hot day which ended in a thunderstorm and heavy rain showers.
I watered the garden early and sat in the arbour enjoying the sun for a while until it warmed up to 23 degrees in the shade.I like this little area of hostas :)
My Mum said it reached 50 degrees in her conservatory 39 degrees outside.
The record was beaten as over 40 degrees was reached in many parts of England. The worse thing was the number of fires that raged through many parts with people losing their houses. I read that someone’s trees and hedge were set on fire caused by a garden mirror , lucky it was put out before spreading any further.
A much cooler night for us.
