Got up to 40 degrees today. Much too hot for me. I did mange to sleep ok though, due to fan on full blast, cold shower straight before bed, frozen’hot’ water bottle and a wet tea towel around my neck!
Didn’t too anything other than read in the morning, then decided I had to do something so decided on going to the cinema, mainly for the AC! Saw Elvis- not sure what I thought about it really. The main actors were all excellent but somehow it just didn’t quite hit the spot for me. Very long too- over 2 and a half hours. More time in the AC though !
All of the upstairs floor in my house was absolutely stifling at bed time and all the carpets felt very warm. Let’s see how I sleep tonight!
