In not so Hot Water

The second day of the heatwave. Why hasn’t it been given a name? Heatwave Henry, I fancy. And after more boat malarkey I arrived back at the house to find Rog&E (and daughter K) heading to the beach. I whistled up the SK and took E over a cup of tea - while R&K went for a swim amongst the jellyfish. 
The day did get reasonably warm, as I shimmied about, getting a haircut, picking up the granddaughter and delivering her to Barnton, and watering the tatties. Really, that was it.
Kemi Badenoch dropped out the Tory leadership race (ha, AJ!) so her 59 votes are up for grabs in the next round. Sunak remains in the lead with 118 votes. Mordaunt is still on 2nd spot with 92 votes, but "properly crackers" Liz Truss closed the gap by picking up 15 extra votes to reach 86. Liz Truss, PeeEmm, eh?
