I had a belated birthday celebratory lunch with my friend as we both had Covid when it was her actual birthday. We went to the sea front at Ventnor. It was still very hot today. Suffice to say, after a couple of glasses of wine, I did little else. I noticed this flower bed on the bend of the road going down to the sea, known as The Cascade. As well as QE celebrating her platinum, I also recently celebrated 70 years of life!
