In The Pond

I am fairly sure I heard an announcement on the tannoy in the supermarket this morning apologising for the price increases.
Well that is a first.

There was a herd of sparrows making a racket at the pond this morning.
They were taking it in turns to have a drink while the others kept watch. Unfortunately the window was shut so the pictures are not great .... they are over here - along with the freshly opened lily flower (they were not taken through the window so are a better quality).
