The Mint Moth.

After some research by Mrs K we discovered that this little insect is called a Mint Moth. They are seen during daylight hours between April and September in gardens that grow a variety of herbs. 
The other one is apparently called a Jak who likes to lie on and destroy  garden plants in order to keep cool during heatwaves.
