COMPANIONS

The blue plectranthus is flowering profusely at the moment and grows happily with this non fruiting vine. An unplanned colour combination that delights me every time I walk down to my studio. The vine is not robust in growth but every year it provides a splash of colour with lovely red leaves.
We are back to Summer weather with temperatures in the high twenties. I keep having to unpack summer clothes! Have decided that I will simply roll up my jeans and wear sandals till the weather changes.
The village is having its Olive Festival this weekend , so I am hoping for some good blips. Looking forward to an invasion of grandchildren and catching up with my son and daughter-in-law.
