Two of the brood

We had a real downpour last night and amazingly the water barrel is full.

A lot cooler this morning so we had a trip to MK.  Well I had to use my free drink and cake voucher didn't I?  A couple of books purchased in Waterstones, one by Ken Follett and another by Rory Clements.  I still haven't finished The Mirror and the Light as I haven't been able to curl up and concentrate on it, what with the tennis and now the Tour de France.

We're having an early dinner with friends this evening.  They've booked a table at our local pub as a thank you for looking after their garden while they were in Canada.

The wrens were busy pottering around the garden this morning and I was pleased to see three youngsters, although one was camera shy.
