Afternoon Tea

A friend of W's from her course has been on holiday in Holt for the week with his wife so we arranged to meet up with them this afternoon in one of the tea rooms in town.  They've loved the town and plan to come back again but the week hasn't been perfect for them; they are Londoners who, with all the transport links in London, have never learned to drive so were planning on getting around on public transport.  On the heatwave days this week they didn't go very far and now as there is a rail strike on Saturday they are having to go home a day early.  But they enjoyed themselves and it was good to meet them; we all got on very well.

The tea room is at the end of this Yard (not the shop on the right; that just sells tea) and used to be excellent.  It's changed hands recently and was still very good, if not quite so good as before.  Still worth a visit though.
