Chippy

Some time ago this was a fish and chip shop, but it has been closed and shuttered up for quite a few years now. A couple of weeks ago there were signs of new life with various vans and shopfitters (why does autocorrect change that to shoplifters?) outside and in.

One of the first noticeable things was the removal of the 'fish shop' sign that had been a feature of the area for many years to reveal the 'ghost sign' below. Seems that it had been a fish and chip shop for much longer than I thought.

What it will become it still unclear, but it looks from closer inspection that it's not going to be reborn as a chippy.
