I talked a little bit about remote working yesterday. One of the downsides of being at home all day is that it can become very easy not to go out. And, today was almost one of those days. I am glad I got a walk around Cannon Hill Common in.  I have walked this route many times over the past couple of years but it’s really only today I realised the walk is almost identical in length (a tiny bit over two miles) to my other morning walk route which keeps me on the pavements.  When the weather is nice, and the ground underfoot here is dry, this is a much nicer way to start the day. There are aways ducks to watch or old trees making interesting shapes.
