Cabane and Lac d’Anthème (TDM day 4)

Back blip

This is where we had a snack and swim today. It is such a beautiful setting and it was fabulous to swim in the mountain lake with snow in the background.

We had a slightly later start and for the first part of the walk it was quite cloudy. It picked up towards lunchtime and it was warm enough to swim by the time we stopped. Then it was time to make the steep descent to Grand Paradis where we had left the car. We celebrated completing the Tour with ice creams! A fabulous few days but I think my legs will need a few days to recover.

Today was +428 mètres and a descent of 996 mètres, with a total walking of about 20km.
