After all the complaints about the horrendous inconsiderate parking last weekend (typical of every hot summer’s day), our lovely council has put yellow cones up and down the ‘double yellow’ pavement here. Impressive. Lets’s see if they work (doubt it). You can just about see them in yet another (rubbish photo) - sorry but taken through a window on the 4th floor.

Lazy day doing things round the house/not much. Up to G on the 4th - she have me ½ a black bread her daughter brought from Copenhagen. Just been back up again, G kindly made a peperonata for her

Will go out after dinner. Schools have broken up, so expect everywhere to be teaming.
