How English Summers were
I pity the poor souls who assumed summer was well and truly here, and rushed to book a Staycation. Today is Autumnal. Dreary, overcast, windy, grey and non-stop rain since midday. Min 15C Max 17C. Not complaining, anything's better than the heat. Remember hols in Bournemouth as a child, 50% were like today!
Took the TV which 'popped' to Currys to recycle. Popped into Aldi next door. Then drove to Southbourne for an Aspall. Sadly found the Brewhouse & Kitchen no longer has it. So went to The Commodore, on the Overcliff instead.
Made myself a Coconut Curry soup (with lentil, cabbage and Camargue red rice), followed by 'Unagi Don', (aubergine dish) - didn't have Sake or Miri so used Aspall Balsamic Cider Vinegar instead.
