Life in the woods

Spotted these two deer this morning on a beautifully sunny day in Alva. They are actually the same colour as Nira and so very difficult to spot.

Quite difficult to catch the shot with the dog (on the lead by this time) getting tangled round my legs!

She had just survived sinking into mud in a little pond-right up to her chin. For a moment I thought she would need rescued-she got quite a shock!
