Bellahouston Academy garden project

My sister-in-law M has been instrumental in leading this fantastic project within Bellahouston Park, Glasgow.
She is a domestic science teacher who considered that giving the school pupils the opportinity to grow their own food could be fun and educational.
They secured a grant from nearby Asda and a couple of years in they are all set to plant this year's crop (after many long hours of hard work!)
Last season they were able to cook with 10kg of tomatoes they had grown and M sold green beans, broad beans and broccoli in school.
Way to go!
