Back Blip - filling in a few gaps in my journal


Met up with some friends in Culross this morning. We walked along to Preston Island (which isn't an island any more) and did the circular walk there around the former salt pans and salt processing plant before returning to Culross for our first coffee stop of the day.

Suitably refreshed we then headed up through the cobbled streets to the Abbey ruins (closed at the time of our visit), along to the ruins of the old West Kirk (see extra) and then back to the shoreline path which we followed back to the car park. Time for more coffee and cake and then home. Saturdays are made for days like this.
