Indigo plant

A couple of years ago I was attracted to a small plant on sale on the table at Elford Walled Garden. It was labelled Indigo. I hadn’t a clue what it meant and I’d never seen one before.  I bought it and took it home, putting it into a rather nice pot and leaving it in front of the house.

It did nothing for ages but it did not die.

This year it’s grown substantially and has flowered.

When I was wondering what to put on the flat stump of the removed dead tree, I thought I’d give it a go.

I’m really rather pleased.

I’m also pleased that Suki seems to have forgiven me. She’s tired after the responsibility of guarding the house. She was deeply asleep when I got up this morning.

A bit of fuss, a couple of pouches, and a regularly refilled Dreamie mouse and she’s relaxing and following me around the house.

Well done, my little friend.
