New Faces, New Line Up

Believe it or not the new football season is almost upon us and this afternoon Chris& I were back at Huish Park for the first time this season for our final home pre-season friendly against Plymouth Argyle.

As always, it was a case of trying to familiarise ourselves with the faces of new signings and trying to identify the host of anonymous trialists .

Just to make it more confusing, we were playing in our new away kit of purple and pink, while Plymouth were wearing our normal colours of green and white!

As expected against a team 2 leagues above us, we had a lot of defending to do but we acquitted ourselves well in that respect, despite conceding two goals, but we didn’t get enough possession to know whether we’re likely to be much of an attacking force this season.

This morning Tess & I were back doing our first Park Run in 4 weeks. It was hard going but we got round.
