Super Star

We went over to water our friends’ garden again this morning, where this dahlia (I think) immediately caught our eye in the front garden.

Needless to say, less than an hour after we’d finished watering, the heavens opened just as we arrived at the outdoor pool for a swim.

We were doing the weekly shop this afternoon when we got a video call from a very excited Sophie, bursting to tell us that she had been awarded the certificate for Student of the Term in her class in the final assembly of the term.

A lovely end to the school year for her.
