To Do List

Saw this on the wall of the hamburger place we ate at in Évora, and thought it about summed up living in these 40C+ days - but, of course, had to add two extras to the list...

My first writing on the red board I painted on the door inside the moulding we stuck on. First, because we could not find chalk here; brought some back from WHSmiths in Sutton.

Gratefuls:
- surviving another hot day 
- cleaning up my email inbox
- finding this gorgeous poem and photo, related to my pear Blip yesterday, based on a quote from a medieval heroine of mine, Hildegard of Bingen:
The only sin in life is drying up.
We have to do everything
to remain green
and juicy and wet.
Worth looking at if you have a moment.
