Minding the flock

After some shopping in Milnthorpe, I took Gus for a walk in Dallam Park, my old blip hunting ground which I haven't visited once since Gus arrived at the end of December. The Park is full of sheep and lambs at the moment, and as can be seen, Gus went into proper sheepdog mode rounding up his flock. Not because of the sheep, but because of this little lady.

She was obsessed with chasing balls, the very behaviour that inspires Gus to show off his rounding up skills. She took no notice of him whatsoever, as he took no notice of the sheep. But Gus did attract the attention of the people the little dog was with. The man was sporting an expensive looking full frame camera, and he was firing off a lot of shots of our Gus. So, who knows, maybe Gus will appear in two journals tonight?

Apart from that, the main event was the return of Wifie late this afternoon. Gus is very, very happy...as are we all!
