St Abbs

We visited St Abbs for the first time today and it is a fantastic place! Inspired by seeing it in Thor: Love & Thunder as the location for New Asgard. You can take the props from the visitor centre (Orla has Stormbreaker and Conor has Mjolnir) and get a photo like this from the viewpoint.


The village is very small but there was so much going on round the harbour. By chance we were there to see the Herring Queen board her boat to Eyemouth for the Herring Queen Festival. 


We drove on to Newcastle for the evening, staying in the Hilton. We were able to get in a quick visit to the Baltic Flour Mill and photo from the viewing platform. We then had a nice dinner in Gusto.
