Marsh Marigold
Sort of lazy day in that we didn' go anywhere. Stayed at home and worked around the garden in the spring sunshine, between showers. Fine working in the sun and sheltered from the wind but very cold otherwise.Pleased to get lots done but still so much to catch up on.
Still , it is lovely to see many plants showing spurts of growth. Tonight's blip is a marsh marigold in the garden pond which I dug out when I first retired, took me about two months to complete that task but I love that corner of the garde. The pond is full of tadpoles just now and the marsh marigold has spread to other parts of the pond and looks so bright and cheerful after the cold grey days recently.
I hadn't noticed the tiny visitor on the top flower, Large looks quite interessting with fine detail in the tiny insect and the centre of the flower.
Hope you all have a great weekend. We're headed over to Cowdenbeath for the Sons game , very important, even one point against the Blue Brazils as Cowdenbeath are known, means we are safe and staying up in the first division. But with the Sons it is in the lap of the Gods.
